With a total area of 250 hectares and a production of high quality, the company “Abate Franca” is a reality in the Trapani area that is trying to appear slowly on the national and international markets.
In addition to the 46 hectares of vineyards and vast areas planted with olive trees, the company (which has within it a game reserve) produces wheat and various grains and attaches a cattle farm with a small dairy.
For three generations have grown only native grape varieties such as Catarratto, boldface mascalese, the Nero d’Avola. From 1999 it was also planted international varieties such as merlot, cabernet and chardonnay.
By partnering with the Tuscan wine expert Dr. Maurizio Alongi, since 2005 the company produces and bottles three red wines and one white, with the labels “Cuti” and “Biligneri“.
